The Charles Jordi Hair and Beauty Salon, established in 1975, is based in Frodsham, Cheshire. Focusing on the development of natural products for skin, hair and body, the salon has extensive expertise in natural and organic formulations based on essential oils and plant minerals from around the world.

Charles Jordi is one of the few salons to initiate and develop all its own products. Over the past 30 years, it has developed 14 ranges, comprising three brands and over 200 products. Ingredients are sourced from areas of high altitude to ensure the air breathed by the plants and flowers is as pure as possible.

The salon name originates from Charles Hutchinson - the husband and father respectively of salon proprietors June and Lynda Hutchinson. Charles hailed from Newcastle upon Tyne and was a ?Geordie? - hence the name Charles Jordi was born. As well as her work at the family-owned salon, Lynda Hutchinson founded the internationally renowned Cheshire School of Beauty in the 1980s. Her mother, June Hutchinson, has a background in nutrition and has formulated a diverse range of hair, beauty and therapeutic products over the past 30 years. All Charles Jordi?s formulae are developed by June Hutchinson and are fully tested, legally substantiated and satisfy all EEC product safety requirements.

Initially, the products were formulated and sold to salon clients. However, the salon has built an international reputation through word of mouth recommendation and some A-list celebrities, including Atomic Kitten and the cast of ?Sex in the City?, use its products.
