James Aston

Having spent the first four years of his career working for a global drinks manufacturer in South Africa, James returned to the UK to begin his recruitment career in 1998. His extensive recruitment experience spans most sectors and includes retained senior level marketing, sales, finance and HR assignments. James is responsible for Archer Mathieson's Human Resources Practice.

Outside the office, James loves most sports and has rowed at Henley Royal Regatta and attained a silver medal at the World Lifeboat Rowing Championships. His young family keeps him off the river these days and he has recently turned his attentions to cycling to raise money for charity.
