2007-08-14
August 14, 2007 - Press Dispensary - People who want to study for a UK university degree or masters qualification without giving up work now have more options than ever before - thanks to Coventry-based company, RDI (http://www.rdi.co.uk), which has become the largest independent provider of UK university distance learning education in the world.
After signing agreements with six new university partners, RDI can now offer learners a wide choice of distance learning diploma, degree, masters, MBA and even doctorate programmes in a variety of disciplines including management, business, law, finance and accounting, IT, marketing, tourism and hospitality, education, psychology and public administration. By logging on to RDI’s website, individuals can access 40 qualifications in 13 different subjects from eight different universities, and gain free expert advice about how to apply.
Dr Philip Hallam, CEO, comments: “The ethos of RDI is learning without boundaries. We break down the barriers of location, work and finance that often prevent people from gaining university education, so they can advance their careers and change their lives.”
RDI's open access policy is exemplified in it’s ‘Professional Pathways’ structure of qualifications, designed so individuals can join a specific career-focused pathway with no qualifications, study up to masters level while working, and improve their prospects. RDI also offer ‘Pay as You Go’ options, allowing students to pay for their course as they study.
