Boys’ Book ‘Dragon’ Flies the Flag for St George

Celebrating the best of British, 'Dragon' is based on the 'George and the dragon' folk tale, and is the publisher’s first personalised book written specifically for boys. The boy (the reader or listener) is the star of the story – the prince – and his name, together with his friends’ names and home location, will feature throughout the beautifully illustrated adventure.

Phil adds: “Children’s eyes light up when they hear their own name as the hero, how they have defeated the dragon and helped their friends. And making the child the star of the story empowers the reader and encourages children who may have struggled or had little interest in reading in the past.”
