Forget Auctions: Haggling Bags Bargains at Online Boot Sale

April 10, 2008 - Press Dispensary - Online bargain boot sale Bitsnbobs.co.uk (http://www.bitsnbobs.co.uk) is re-launching after a major face-lift to improve its overall look and efficiency, making it quicker for clients to join, buy and sell. Established in 2003, the site operates like a 24 hour market hall, with stalls selling a vast range of goods including clothing, books, antiques, homeware, jewellery and food items.

Sellers can rent a pitch for free, after completing a simple online registration form, and set up at their leisure … without the need for a 6am start in inclement weather. The stalls display items for sale under simple clear headings together with the price requested, and buyers are invited to haggle for the goods until a satisfactory result for both parties is reached.

The trading process is testimony to the recycling and re-using ethic of today and - whether for an entrepreneur, seasoned sales person or an individual simply looking to get rid of unwanted items - provides an ideal vehicle for all concerned to make money.

Lee Bates, founder of Bitsnbobs, says: “Bitsnbobs allows you to sell your wares easily from the comfort of your own home. Haggling can be fun and at a time when everything is going up, is perhaps something we should be practising a little more.”
