uEvent from Ubiquity Software Makes Event Management a Dream - Not a Nightmare!

With uEvent, running seminars, functions, training sessions, staff parties and product launches is an absolute breeze! uEvent handles all the admin functions, such as registration, reminding delegates of the itinerary and sending feedback afterwards. The software is easy to learn with intuitive wizards and a Windows-style interface. Thanks to uEvent, it’s possible to have an event up and running in less than 15 minutes.

uEvent allows event managers to configure almost every aspect of the event registration process. For example, the registration form can be configured to show cost, bulk discounts for group registrations, total group size and additional items for sale, such as books and guides. Furthermore, the look and feel of uEvent’s registration forms can be fully customised using HTML and graphics to match the branding of the client’s existing website.

Unlike some rivals, uEvent accepts multiple registrations on a single form, which makes it easy for companies to register several employees and receive any bulk discounts that may apply. uEvent can also gather registrants' credit card details securely. The event manager simply logs into the ‘backstage’ area to view the credit card details.

For those who want to measure the response to an event, uEvent offers a real-time reporting facility which shows who has registered, who has declined, and who is undecided but has signed up to receive email reminders. This can help the event manager decide what promotions and incentives work best.

While manually reminding people about an event is usually time consuming and inefficient, uEvent can send email alerts to all registrants at key dates – such as five days or one day before the event. Automated email reminders improve attendance rates and create a professional image.

uEvent also supports multiple user accounts, so more than one event manager can set up and customise events. Different levels of user access can be specified to ensure valuable information is protected at all times.

uEvent comes with three pricing options. Plan 1, where the registration forms have the standard uEvent look and feel, costs 95 NZD (approx. 35 GBP) and 0.25 cents (approx. 10p) per response. Plan 2, where the user can upload their own graphics, costs 295 NZD (approx. 110 GBP) plus 0.25 cents per response. Plan 3, where the user can fully customise the look and feel of the registration forms to match their branding, costs 395 NZD (approx. 150 GBP) plus 0.25 cents per response.

uEvent is part of the uSuite ‘family’ of applications from Ubiquity Software and works hand-in-hand with its ‘sister’ products. For example, the client can create an online survey at the end of an event with uSurvey, add email-to-a-friend functionality with uRefer, instigate email marketing with uMail and invite registrants to chat live to sales and support staff with uLiveHelp.
