Notes for editors
Vinylla launched in May 2003 at the Hanbury Ballroom, Brighton, before moving to the Harlequin, Brighton, in March 2004 and subsequently to Charles Street in late 2006. It was set up to fill the gap between ‘hardcore’ fetish nights and theme parties. The result is a playful, erotic event which attracts the South Coast’s fetishists, fashionistas and eccentric party people. The name Vinylla is a play on the idea of ‘vanilla sex’ and vinyl.

Charles Street is at 8 Marine Parade, Brighton (opposite pier and Sealife Centre) - http://www.charlesstreetbar.com. Last entry is at 1.30am.
