Lingualearn Wins European Bid for EUMETSAT Contract


November 13, 2006 - Press Dispensary - Lingualearn (http://www.lingualearn.co.uk), the Brighton-based language consultancy, is winner of an EU bid to provide proofreading and file handling services to the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT - http://www.eumetsat.int), a European intergovernmental organisation that monitors the weather, climate and environment and makes invaluable predictions.

The EU contract is to proofread and organise files of material in printed, web-based or multimedia format for the general public and scientific audiences. Content may include brochures, reports, newsletters, news releases, videos, websites, CDs of conference proceedings, etc. Lingualearn has been awarded this contract for the rest of 2006 with possible extension to 2007 and 2008.

Lingualearn offers proofreading in 12 languages - English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Dutch, Swedish and Hebrew - and at three different levels of service; Bronze, Silver and Gold.
