Press release from Press Dispensary

Press Dispensary - May 14, 2008 - Many people do not realise that losing even the back teeth in the part of the mouth that is out of sight can contribute to looking older. Losing the molars has an effect on the muscles and bones and gives the face an older appearance. By completely closing the gaps that have been left, dental implants are able to prevent this. The Dentaprime Clinic ( http://www.dentaprime.co.uk ), on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria, specialises in dental implants and cosmetic dentistry. Not only are implants carried out to the latest standards of technology, but also at favourable prices.

“If the back molars are affected, many people find comfort in an ‘out of sight - out of mind’ attitude,” says Dr. Regina Schindjalova, an expert in cosmetic dentistry and implantology. In June 2006, Schindjalova became clinical director at the Dentaprime Dental Clinic, Varna, where she carries out implants every day, including complex cases.

Sooner or later there comes a point when the changes which result from an absence of back teeth can no longer be overlooked because the loss of teeth and their roots results in a loss of muscle tone and in shrinking of the jaw bone. This in turn leads to movement of adjacent teeth. Schindjalova explains: “It’s like a row of books on a shelf, when one of them is taken out, the teeth at the side move to close the gap.”

In the course of a procedure, which is minimally invasive, gentle and practically painless, the implant is anchored firmly in the bone. They are unobtrusive when eating and the action of chewing ensures that the muscles are strengthened and the bony tissue of the jaw is revitalised.

The Dentaprime Clinic offers the highest medical standards at reasonable prices and combines modern dental medicine with a relaxing atmosphere. With over 15 years in international practice, Dr. Schindjalova is one of the most experienced implantologists in Europe and hosts international seminars in Implantology. The next seminar will take place on 7-8 June, 2008, at the Dentaprime Clinic, Varna.

Notes for editors
The Dentaprime Dental Clinic opened its Bulgarian practice in June 2006 and offers dental holidays. The company, which specialises in implantology and cosmetic dentistry, is awaiting certification to ISO 9001:2000 standards. It has seven implantation and five prosthetic rooms all equipped with up-to-date medical apparatus manufactured by high spec German dental supplier Kavo.

Instead of an x-ray machine the practice prefers to use a digital volume tomograph to facilitate subsequent diagnostics, especially useful for implantology. The machine produces a high resolution, 3D representation of the tooth and jawbone to allow accurate configuration and optimum seating of the implant.
