Press Dispensary - September 04, 2003 - JAZZFM.com has been re-designed by London-based digital agency Underwired*, and launches officially on September 8th.
The new site has been created as part of JAZZFM's brand re-launch co-ordinated by Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw, JAZZFM's advertising agency.
The site, which attracts around 12 million page impressions a month, comprises around 200 pages. It now allows users to switch seamlessly between 102.2 JAZZFM London's content and 100.4 JAZZFM North West's, and offers a variety of live audio streams to reinforce JAZZFM's position as one of the most listened-to stations on the internet (source: Measurecast).
Principle elements of the brief were to bring the site in line with the new brand identity (which was re-launched in March) and to open up the site to commercial partners. Designed to increase time spent on the site and increase interaction between the station and its audience, the new site includes around 23 presenters' home pages (including their current top tens), shops for JAZZFM's record labels, competitions, news, event listings and schedules.
