Press Dispensary - August 04, 2005 - Superscape, the world's leading 3D games developer and publisher, has launched a revamped website designed and developed by renowned digital media agency, Underwired (http://www.underwired.com). The resulting site can be found at http://www.superscape.com.
Superscape's new site provides dedicated sections for its key audiences - namely 'deck-managers' or network operator decision makers, consumers, investors, potential staff and the press. In particular, investors can view Superscape's share price in real time on the site and would-be employees can apply for jobs online.
The site also gives users access to up-to-the minute information on the latest game launches, with reviews of games and information on where to buy them. Underwired has designed a game-finder tool so users can locate what games are available in which countries and identify games that will suit their particular phone network and mobile handset. The home page also features a top 10 list of the most popular games and, each time it's refreshed, a new game is displayed with a full review and description.
Underwired's site design is in line with Superscape's new corporate identity. It references the steel edges from the brand's metal cube logo consistently throughout all elements of the navigation and layout. In addition to design and build, Underwired was also responsible for creating the content management system.
Mike Grant, vice president of commercial affairs at Superscape, comments: "We wanted the site to have a contemporary feel that would reflect our new brand identity and intelligently provide essential information to our five main audiences. Underwired has exceeded all our expectations in achieving this task."
Jason Holland, creative director at Underwired, says: "This was a dream job, as many of us 'closet geeks' love our technology and toys. The project married the two perfectly. We've managed to keep the creative edge, design a site that reflects the fun side of the industry, but makes it highly accessible too."
