Steve Rider Swaps the Microphone for the Golf Clubs!

Press Dispensary - May 24, 2007 - Thames Valley finance, HR and IT professionals enjoyed the company of one of TV’s favourite sports presenters, Steve Rider, at Archer Mathieson’s annual golf day.

The sports presenter and journalist joined forces with Archer Mathieson, Windsor based executive recruitment and interim management firm, for a day of practising his golf rather than presenting the sport.

Steve Rider delivered an after dinner speech, delighting the group of 40 senior executives with numerous anecdotes from his carer in television.

Business founder, John Archer, commented: “It was a real honour that Steve joined us for our annual golf day and he did remarkably well in battling the elements on a very windy day.”

Steve Rider enjoyed a long serving career with the BBC before making the move over to ITV in 2006 as the new F1 front man.

Archer Mathieson also celebrated its ninth annual golf day this year at Harleyford Golf Club in Marlow in Buckinghamshire on May 8, 2007.
