Computer Quote Insurance Launches New Website and Branding with Press Party

March 29, 2006 - Press Dispensary - Believe it or not, insurance brokers really do know how to throw a party. Computer-Quote Insurance, a Portsmouth-based company, is proving the point with a launch event for its new website and branding, to be held on Thursday March 30 at the Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth.

The party will start at 7pm - just in time for guests to catch the sunset from the landmark tower at 7.30pm. Local musician Tom Hazel from Les Hombres will serenade the guests with his gentle Spanish guitar as they sip champagne on the observation decks high above the harbour.

The website may be new but Computer-Quote has operated on the South Coast since 1973, offering motor, home, life and travel insurance products through a network of personal lines and insurance brokers, and covering an area stretching from Bournemouth to Chichester. The new website offers online car insurance quotes, policy sales, a motoring guide and the latest news for UK motorists. As well as receiving competitive car insurance quotes, users can find contact details for Computer-Quote's online teams and branches.

Computer-Quote looked west for a suitable web developer, choosing Cardiff-based Imaginet to develop the new site, which uses an interactive quote generator developed by insurance software provider CDL, based in Stockport. Meanwhile, the colourful logo and point of sale materials were designed by Cedar of Southampton, using illustrations from fellow Southhamptoners, Ten Alps.

Jonathan Walker, marketing manager of Computer-Quote comments: “We are about to step up our business thanks to our fresh new look and online sales channel. The launch party is an opportunity to celebrate with our staff, suppliers, fellow insurers and press and to thank everyone who has contributed to Computer-Quote's significant achievements during the past few months."

The Computer-Quote team is also looking forward to another website launch - this time for parent company Stride, which will unleash a new presence at Stride.co.uk towards the end of May.
