The Dentaprime Dental Clinic opened its Bulgarian practice in June 2006 and provides dental holidays. The company, which specialises in implantology and cosmetic dentistry, is awaiting certification to ISO 9001:2000 standards. It has seven implantation and five prosthetic rooms all equipped with up-to-date medical apparatus manufactured by high spec German dental supplier Kavo. Instead of an x-ray machine the practice prefers to use a digital volume tomograph to facilitate subsequent diagnostics, especially useful for implantology. The machine produces a high-resolution, three-dimensional representation of the tooth and jawbone to allow accurate configuration and optimum seating of the implant.
