NHS Cleaning Audit Management System Launched

New hospital cleaning audit software supports national cleaning standards for infection control in the Healthcare sector

The effective management of cleaning standards underpins infection control within the NHS. fmfirst-cleaning™ , launched today by Asckey Data Services Ltd, has been developed to the requirements of the National Specification for Cleanliness 2007 and the proposals contained in the PAS 5748:2011. Recognising the on-going changes in the Healthcare sector, fmfirst-cleaning™ software is fully flexible and adaptable to any future requirement changes.

Applying 20+ years’ experience of delivering and supporting high quality facilities management systems  to the NHS, Asckey is adding fmfirst-cleaning™ to its fmfirst™ product suite, arming FM departments within the Health Sector with the means to effectively manage national cleaning standards compliance and audit standards within NHS sites across the country.

Direct user input from NHS Trusts played a definitive role in the product development phase, ensuring ease of use with maximum results.  Each cleaning standard is represented by a system process, each designed to fully reflect user expectations. Components include: Cleaning Intensities; Contingency Percentage Calculations; Scheduled Audits, Periodic Task Frequencies, Daily Task Scheduling and PDA functionality.  Mobile capability brings additional flexibility and allows for continuous monitoring on or off-site. The fast, user-friendly and intuitive functionality, allows for maximum control over the management and audit of cleaning standards within healthcare facilities.

fmfirst-cleaning™ is connected via Asckey’s own secure IGSoC accredited, high-speed NHS N3 data connection - providing instant access for product installation, user support and subsequent product updates.  This valuable N3 connection, the only one in use by suppliers of cleaning/audit systems, provides instant access to the latest product updates with limited input from internal IT departments, offering a safe, cost-effective, highly efficient solution.  

The development of fmfirst-cleaning™, as with all Asckey products, has been carried out under the latest ISO9001:2008 and TickIT standards.  All current and future system developments follow stringent quality control procedures, providing system assurance and reliability.
